I will be hosting a Calligraphy workshop at Artisan, which is a beautiful venue in the Ribble Valley.

What to expect in a workshop?

The class will begin with a thorough introduction of what supplies you will be using (and taking home) followed by some exercises to help you understand how to develop certain movements and shapes. You will move onto creating letterforms. At this point, you will feel confident enough to create a style of your own. 

I offer a limited amount of tickets for my Calligraphy workshops. This is to ensure that each ticket holder has some one-to-one guidance with me to help them confidently get stuck into the Art of Modern Calligraphy. 

- Introduction to Modern Calligraphy and the basics of hand lettering.
- A Modern Calligraphy Kit for you to take home, including:

- A Kate Illustrate Modern Calligraphy Handbook
(Carefully developed by me to give you the best guidance, illustrated examples and tips to help you progress)
- 1 on 1 guidance from Kate

- Beautiful handwritten and illustrated final piece

PS. The ink we will be using is permanent; sleeves and wrists in particular can be at risk of getting ink on them.

*Cancellations/Change of workshop - Please be aware that I need a minimum of 14 days notice if you would like to change to a different workshop or refund your ticket. This allows me time to advertise this space to other people.
Please note that refunds will have a non refundable £2 booking fee deducted.
